Admissions
BMCE is a Catholic school but we welcome students of all faiths. Please contact us by phone or contact form to tour one or both of our campuses. We encourage interested families to bring their children to visit and experience a day at BMCE. Auditing classes, meeting other students, and talking with teachers are the best ways to gain an understanding of all that we offer.
We follow an open enrollment policy, and students may transfer or be enrolled at any time in Pre-K through Grade 6. Please call us at 814.248.3869 to begin the application process, or begin the registration process online.
Each year, contributions from generous donors make financial aid available to deserving students. We offer funds through the Second Century Fund, various Named Scholarship Programs, and our Parish Angel Funds. BMCE is deeply committed to providing every family with the opportunity to attend our school, and our team will do everything it can to ensure your child has the opportunity to attend and excel at BMCE.
Please note that financial aid at BMCE is awarded solely based on need. To ensure that awards are objective, impartial and confidential, we have retained the services of an independent firm, Simple Tuition Solutions (STS). Families requesting financial aid for the first time must create a STS account, which they will use throughout their child’s BMCE experience. Click here to create your STS account. Please contact the business office at 814.248.3884 for the school code, and for any questions.
Our innovative Academic Course Enhancement (ACE) supports our students’ intellectual, creative, social, and emotional development, ensuring the students receive an appropriate and engaging experience beyond the standard classroom experience according to their abilities and potential. Students must fit the criteria for this program.
Our ACE instructor provides math and reading support services to eligible students, as well as an array of enrichment activities for students who can manage challenges. The enrichment curriculum focuses on areas such as building vocabulary for college prep exams, cross-curricular studies, public speaking, and leadership opportunities. We accomplish this through academic field trips, hands-on experiments with real life applications.
Additional support services include Title I services to help eligible students strengthen their reading, comprehension and math skills, as well as speech, health and in-school counseling services.

Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.
What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change prior to submitting the form, you can either navigate back to the page using the “< Prev” and “Next >” buttons or if you are on the Review page select the underlined field. If you have already submitted the form you will need to contact your student’s school so they can make the changes for you.
I’ve completed the form, now what?
Once you have finished entering your information select “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot select this button you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions. On the Summary Page, all categories will have a green checkmark once completed. Click on any red numbers to complete missing required fields.
What if I have more than one student in the district? Do I need to do this for each child?
Yes you will need to provide information that is specific to each child. We recommend that you complete and submit one form and then start another. This will allow you to “snap” (or share) selected family information, which saves you time.
